Introduction
We are looking for a motivated and courteous Restaurant Customer Service Attendant to join our dynamic front‑of‑house team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring that every dining experience is welcoming, smooth, and memorable. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a genuine smile, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly demeanor.
- Answer phone calls and online inquiries promptly, providing accurate information about menu items, reservations, and special promotions.
- Take customer orders accurately, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle cash transactions, process credit‑card payments, and maintain an orderly register while adhering to company policies.
- Monitor table turnover, clear and reset tables efficiently, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Address guest concerns or complaints with empathy, escalating to a manager when necessary to guarantee satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service flow during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, napkins, and condiments, reporting shortages to the supervisor.
- Participate in regular shift briefings, sharing observations that can improve service quality.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in accordance with local regulations and company guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate degree or higher).
- Age: Up to 30 years old (maximum).
- Gender: Female (preferred) – however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to speak Bahasa Indonesia fluently and, preferably, basic English.
- Honest, responsible, and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work flexible shift schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Not currently enrolled in a full‑time academic program.
- Familiarity with basic point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and store management software is advantageous.
