Introduction
We are a dedicated learning center focused on nurturing the academic and personal growth of early‑year students. Our mission is to provide high‑quality, after‑school tutoring (bimbingan belajar) for children in kindergarten (TK) and elementary school (SD). We are currently seeking a passionate, caring, and experienced female teacher who can inspire young minds, build confidence, and help students achieve their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a D3/D4 qualification, at least one year of relevant teaching experience, and a genuine love for working with children. While there is no upper age limit, we value maturity, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility. Preference will be given to candidates who identify as Catholic or Christian, in alignment with our curriculum framework.
Responsibilities
The teacher will play a pivotal role in both instructional delivery and classroom management. Key duties include:
- Designing structured, creative lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and address diverse learning styles.
- Delivering engaging after‑school tutoring sessions for TK and SD students, covering core subjects such as mathematics, language arts, and foundational science.
- Implementing effective class management techniques to maintain a safe, supportive, and orderly learning environment.
- Monitoring each student’s progress through regular assessments, observation, and record‑keeping.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and preparing progress reports for parents.
- Communicating regularly with parents and guardians to discuss achievements, challenges, and strategies for home support.
- Collaborating with fellow educators to share resources, develop joint activities, and continuously improve instructional practices.
- Participating in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and occasional community outreach events.
Requirements
Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications and possess the indicated soft skills:
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience with TK/SD learners.
- Gender: Female (per our current staffing policy).
- Core Skills: Ability to teach mathematics, language skills, and basic administrative tasks.
- Soft Skills: Patience, compassion, strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and high integrity.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to design innovative lesson plans and adapt teaching methods to individual student needs.
- Communication: Clear, patient information delivery to both children and parents.
- Values Alignment: Preference for candidates of Catholic or Christian faith, consistent with our curricular approach.
