We are looking for motivated and reliable Motor and Car Couriers to join our team and help ensure that millions of orders reach customers on time, in perfect condition, and with a smile. Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from designated ShopeeExpress hubs or merchant locations and deliver them to customers’ addresses according to the assigned schedule.
- Conduct a visual inspection of each package before departure to verify that it matches the order details and is free from damage.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using GPS, mapping tools, or the ShopeeExpress routing app to minimize travel time and fuel consumption.
- Update delivery status in real‑time through the mobile application, including proof of delivery (photo, signature, or OTP) and any exceptions such as failed attempts or customer remarks.
- Report any incidents, vehicle issues, or delivery challenges promptly to the supervisor via the in‑app chat or phone call.
- Perform a basic pre‑trip inspection of the motorbike or car—checking fuel level, tire pressure, lights, brakes, and fluid levels—to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the delivery vehicle, keeping it presentable for customers and complying with ShopeeExpress brand standards.
- Collaborate with fellow couriers and hub staff to share traffic updates, address high‑volume zones, and support peak‑season demand.
- Adhere to all local traffic regulations, company policies, and safety protocols while on the road.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: up to 40 years old; no strict upper limit as long as the candidate can meet the physical demands of the job.
- Valid Indonesian SIM C (motorcycle) and, if using a car for deliveries, a valid SIM A.
- At least 0‑1 years of delivery or driving experience; fresh graduates with a strong work ethic are welcome.
- Excellent time‑management and organizational skills; ability to prioritize deliveries and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact politely with customers and relay information to supervisors.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, and responsibility—key traits for handling valuable parcels.
- Ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player during busy periods.
- Familiarity with the local geography of Tangerang and surrounding neighborhoods is a distinct advantage.
- Ownership of a personal vehicle (motorbike or car) is optional but can provide flexibility during peak periods.
- Basic smartphone proficiency to navigate the ShopeeExpress delivery app, capture photos, and use navigation tools.
- Physical stamina to load and unload parcels ranging from small envelopes to medium‑sized boxes.
