Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate a wide variety of dishes according to the established menu and quality standards.
- Assist in menu development, suggesting seasonal ingredients and innovative recipes that align with local taste preferences.
- Maintain strict hygiene and food safety protocols, ensuring all workstations, equipment, and storage areas are clean and organized.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and communicate ordering needs to the kitchen manager.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and mutual respect.
- Coordinate with front‑of‑house personnel to guarantee timely service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee consistency, taste, and presentation for every dish served.
- Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss performance metrics, menu updates, and operational improvements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper handling of knives, hot equipment, and hazardous substances.
- Contribute ideas for cost‑saving measures without compromising food quality.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (SLTA/Sederajat).
- Age limit: maximum 30 years old.
- Prior experience in a kitchen environment, preferably as a line cook or junior chef.
- Demonstrated ability to operate standard kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, mixers, etc.).
- Professional appearance, friendly demeanor, and courteous interaction with guests and staff.
- Core soft skills: honesty, discipline, strong communication, responsibility, and teamwork orientation.
- Residency close to the workplace to ensure reliable punctuality.
- Flexibility to work six days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
