This pivotal role will oversee the smooth execution of inbound, outbound, and sortation processes within our hub, ensuring that every parcel moves efficiently from receipt to line haul. Responsibilities
- Monitor and control inbound and outbound workflows, guaranteeing that shipments are accurately processed and transferred to the Line Haul network.
- Supervise the sortation area, verifying that all activities follow established SOPs and that any deviations are swiftly corrected.
- Develop and execute manpower planning strategies that align staffing levels with fluctuating volume demands, including peak‑season adjustments.
- Track team productivity and equipment utilization, producing daily and weekly performance reports for senior management.
- Implement and sustain the 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) across the hub to enhance operational efficiency and workplace safety.
- Lead daily shift briefings, communicating key performance indicators, safety reminders, and any operational changes to the team.
- Coordinate with cross‑functional departments such as Transportation, Customer Service, and IT to resolve bottlenecks and improve end‑to‑end service reliability.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, performance reviews, and on‑the‑job training to develop team members’ skills and foster a high‑performance culture.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including customs documentation, hazardous material handling, and local labor laws.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities for cost reduction and service enhancement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- 1‑2 years of experience as a Coordinator, Supervisor, or Team Lead in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, expedition, or 3PL environments.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts and adapt to a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kabupaten Tuban, Jawa Timur.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret KPI data and make data‑driven decisions.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
- Flexibility to handle unexpected operational challenges and provide quick, effective solutions.
