Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, pour‑over, cold brew, and signature latte creations, following precise recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station, performing routine equipment cleaning, grinder calibration, and espresso machine maintenance.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences, provide recommendations, and ensure a memorable café experience.
- Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables, alerting management when re‑stocking is required.
- Handle point‑of‑sale transactions accurately, process orders, and manage cash handling procedures.
- Stay current on coffee industry trends, new brewing methods, and emerging specialty beans to continuously improve the menu.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold consistent service standards during peak hours, including Monday through Saturday shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Assist in training new baristas, sharing knowledge on extraction techniques, milk texturing, and customer interaction best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 23 years old.
- Gender: Open to both male and female candidates (the original posting lists “Laki‑laki” but we welcome all qualified individuals).
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Basic barista skills or a strong interest in developing them, including familiarity with espresso machines and milk steaming.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, especially during the designated workdays (Monday‑Saturday).
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when handling coffee beans and supplies.
