Introduction

We are seeking a friendly and organized Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our upscale spa’s front desk. This role is pivotal in ensuring every guest experiences seamless service from the moment they walk through the door. As the first point of contact, you will embody the spa’s commitment to relaxation, professionalism, and personalized care, helping clients begin their journey toward wellness and rejuvenation.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check‑in guests with a warm, courteous demeanor, confirming appointments and providing clear information about services.
  • Manage the daily appointment schedule using the spa’s booking software, coordinating with therapists, massage specialists, and other staff to optimize room utilization.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to email inquiries, and handle online reservation requests promptly and accurately.
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate cash drawer records, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
  • Maintain the front‑desk area’s cleanliness and presentation, including brochures, product displays, and promotional materials.
  • Assist guests with product purchases, offering knowledgeable recommendations on retail items that complement their treatments.
  • Handle client concerns or special requests with empathy, escalating issues to management when necessary to preserve guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the therapy team to communicate client preferences, special notes, and any contraindications.
  • Prepare daily reports on bookings, walk‑ins, and revenue, supporting operational insights for management.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on spa services, wellness trends, and customer service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities; comfortable interacting with guests of diverse backgrounds and ages.
  • Proven multitasking capability—ability to manage phone lines, front‑desk duties, and appointment logistics simultaneously.
  • Tech‑savvy: proficiency with booking and POS software, Microsoft Office, and basic spreadsheet functions.
  • Positive attitude, high level of professionalism, and a genuine passion for health and wellness.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional overtime during peak seasons.
  • Experience in a spa, hotel, or high‑end service environment is a plus, but fresh graduates with the right attitude are welcome.
  • Basic knowledge of reflexology or willingness to learn about therapeutic services.
