Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Medical Sales Representative to cover the Cilacap area and surrounding regions (Blora, Rembang, Tuban, Bantul, Banyumas). This role focuses on the mid‑wife (bidan) channel, promoting our portfolio of healthcare products and ensuring optimal product utilization in clinics, hospitals, and community health settings. The successful candidate will be a proactive field professional who builds trusted relationships with healthcare providers and consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular visits to mid‑wives, obstetric clinics, and related healthcare facilities to present product information, demonstrate usage, and gather feedback.
  • Perform detailed product detailing, ensuring that mid‑wives understand the clinical benefits, dosage guidelines, and safety profiles of each product.
  • Check product availability at customer locations, assist with order placement, and coordinate timely delivery with the supply chain team.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable, ensuring that invoice payments from mid‑wives are collected within agreed credit terms.
  • Develop and maintain a Master Customer List (MCL) and a fixed journey plan that guarantees 100 % coverage of the assigned territory.
  • Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales value and volume, outlet transaction coverage, and timely receivables collection.
  • Execute trade and marketing programs—such as promotional events, educational workshops, and sample distribution—aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports that capture performance metrics, market insights, and the effectiveness of trade activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (medical affairs, marketing, logistics) to resolve customer issues and improve product availability.
  • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to propose actionable strategies for growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (any field); a science background is a strong advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a medical representative or sales professional in the health‑care sector (pharmaceuticals, medical devices, or consumables).
  • Strong integrity, honesty, and a customer‑centric attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build relationships with HCPs (doctors, nurses, mid‑wives, pharmacists).
  • Proficiency in creating sales plans, visit schedules, and detailed reporting.
  • Valid motorcycle license (SIM C) and ownership of a well‑maintained motorcycle with proper documentation.
  • Analytical mindset for interpreting sales data and adjusting tactics accordingly.
  • Flexibility to work 08:00–17:00 and travel extensively across the assigned districts.
