Introduction
SPX Express, a leading regional logistics provider in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Shift Lead to join our growing operations in Sokobanah, Kabupaten Sampang, Jawa Timur. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of inbound and outbound shipments, overseeing courier teams, and maintaining strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). This position offers a fast‑paced environment where strong leadership, analytical thinking, and hands‑on problem solving are essential.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate the entire shipping and receiving process, ensuring timely pick‑up and delivery of goods.
- Oversee inbound and outbound operations, including interaction with third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to guarantee seamless transfers.
- Supervise sorting activities and the distribution of parcels by couriers, verifying accuracy and completeness.
- Lead a team of couriers and drivers, creating daily schedules that align with SLA requirements and operational capacity.
- Analyze delivery zones, design optimal route plans, and calculate operational costs such as fuel consumption.
- Maintain real‑time tracking dashboards, generate performance reports, and flag any deviations for immediate corrective action.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to ensure proper staging of goods for dispatch and receipt.
- Implement safety and compliance standards, conducting regular briefings and audits for the shift crew.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, suggest technology enhancements, and participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives.
- Provide on‑the‑spot training and mentorship to new team members, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; diploma or bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related operational role.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of drivers and couriers in a shift‑based environment.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including 3PL coordination.
- Proficiency in route optimization, fuel cost calculations, and basic logistics analytics.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends, with a work schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 09:30‑18:30.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Sokobanah, Kabupaten Sampang, Jawa Timur.
