Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Bahasa Indonesia Kelas B to join our growing network of schools in Sumedang and its surrounding branches (Cimalaka, Situarja). This full‑time teaching position is ideal for recent graduates as well as experienced educators who are passionate about nurturing Indonesian language proficiency among junior high (SMP) and senior high (SMA) students. The role offers a structured work week from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexible afternoon availability to support extracurricular activities and after‑school tutoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging Bahasa Indonesia lessons aligned with the national curriculum for both SMP and SMA levels.
- Create weekly lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessment tools that cater to diverse learning styles.
- Evaluate student performance through quizzes, assignments, and examinations, providing timely feedback and remedial support when needed.
- Maintain accurate attendance records, grade books, and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom needs.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development workshops, and curriculum review sessions.
- Lead or assist with language‑focused extracurricular activities such as debate clubs, writing workshops, and cultural events.
- Uphold the school’s standards of professionalism, punctuality, and ethical conduct, demonstrating loyalty and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate flexible afternoon schedules and occasional weekend events.
- Willingness to be stationed at any of our three branch locations, ensuring consistent educational quality across the network.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, Indonesian Language, or a related field with a focus on the subject to be taught.
- Eligibility to teach both junior high (SMP) and senior high (SMA) students.
- Strong command of Bahasa Indonesia, both written and spoken, with the ability to inspire students.
- Flexibility to work afternoons and occasional weekend sessions.
- Demonstrated responsibility, high loyalty, and a commitment to student success.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred, but fresh graduates with a passion for education are encouraged to apply.
- Willingness to relocate or commute to any of the following branches: Sumedang, Cimalaka, Situarja.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of collaborating with colleagues, parents, and administrators.
