We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat to join our growing team of professional private educators in Ambon. This full‑time position offers a rewarding opportunity to shape the academic journey of children and teenagers across multiple grade levels, from kindergarten to senior high school. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans for students in TK, SD, SMP, and SMA, aligning with the national curriculum and individual learning goals.
- Assess each student’s strengths and areas for improvement through informal quizzes, assignments, and observation, providing constructive feedback to students and their parents.
- Maintain an organized schedule, ensuring punctual attendance for sessions from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, while adapting to occasional changes requested by families.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere by using interactive teaching aids, educational games, and real‑world examples.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding progress, challenges, and recommended strategies for at‑home support.
- Participate in periodic training workshops and peer‑review sessions to stay current with modern pedagogical techniques and digital learning tools.
- Uphold professional standards of appearance, conduct, and confidentiality at all times.
- Collaborate with other tutors and administrative staff to share resources, discuss curriculum updates, and contribute to the overall quality of our tutoring services.
Requirements
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification; currently enrolled university students (final semester preferred) or recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in any field (education majors preferred).
- Experience: No prior teaching experience required, though a genuine enthusiasm for working with children and adolescents is essential.
- Subject Proficiency: Ability to teach core subjects appropriate to each grade level, including Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, Science, and English.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, patience, discipline, responsibility, and the ability to build rapport with young learners.
- Presentation: Neat, modest, and professional appearance.
- Availability: Willingness to work the prescribed schedule and adapt to occasional weekend or evening sessions as needed.
- Residence: Preference given to candidates residing in or near the assigned service area within Ambon.
- Additional Skills: Basic proficiency in teaching aids, digital learning platforms, and classroom management techniques.
