Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Steward Layanan Penumpang & Kebersihan (Passenger Service & Cleanliness Steward) to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to delivering a safe, comfortable, and memorable travel experience for all passengers. As a front‑line ambassador, you will ensure that cabin environments are spotless, services are prompt, and every traveler feels valued from check‑in to disembarkation.

The position operates on a Monday‑Saturday schedule, with working hours from 08:00 to 17:00. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, this opportunity offers a supportive environment where teamwork, communication, and a commitment to excellence are rewarded.

Responsibilities

  • Greet passengers warmly, assist with boarding and alighting, and address any inquiries or special requests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of passenger areas, including seating, restrooms, and aisles, by performing regular inspections and prompt waste removal.
  • Prepare, serve, and replenish food and beverage items in accordance with company standards and safety regulations.
  • Conduct safety checks of cabin equipment, ensuring emergency exits, oxygen masks, and safety cards are properly stocked and functional.
  • Collaborate closely with the flight crew or ground staff to coordinate service flow, manage passenger flow during peak periods, and handle any unforeseen disruptions.
  • Document and report any maintenance issues, inventory shortages, or incidents to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, especially during high‑traffic periods or when dealing with hazardous materials.
  • Provide courteous assistance to passengers with special needs, including the elderly, children, and persons with disabilities.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on service standards, emergency procedures, and customer‑service best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in passenger service, hospitality, or cleaning operations.
  • Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English proficiency.
  • Demonstrated honesty, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Resilience under pressure, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks during busy schedules.
