Responsibilities
- Accurately process all sales transactions using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring proper handling of cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the cash register, receipt printer, and surrounding countertops.
- Prepare basic food items and beverages on demand, such as sandwiches, simple cooked dishes, and non‑alcoholic drinks, adhering to food safety standards.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, recommend menu items, and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, preparing detailed sales reports and handing over the cash drawer to management.
- Support inventory control by recording daily stock movements and notifying supervisors of low‑stock items.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth order flow and timely service delivery.
- Uphold company policies regarding discipline, punctuality, and uniform standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, promotional offers, and health‑safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a restaurant, café, or retail cash handling role.
- Proficiency with cashier systems and basic computer skills.
- Ability to prepare simple meals and beverages, following standardized recipes.
- Strong discipline, reliability, and a professional work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
- Flexibility to work a schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
