Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on all production machinery and auxiliary equipment, following manufacturer guidelines and internal SOPs.
- Conduct daily inspections of machines, lubrication points, safety devices, and control panels to detect early signs of wear or malfunction.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults quickly, and execute corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, ensuring traceability for audits and performance analysis.
- Collaborate closely with the production team to coordinate maintenance windows, ensuring that equipment availability aligns with production targets.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and testing of new machinery or upgrades, providing feedback on optimal setup and operation.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis meetings after major breakdowns, contributing technical insights to prevent recurrence.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE and reporting any hazardous conditions immediately.
- Support inventory management by requesting spare parts, tracking usage, and suggesting cost‑effective alternatives when appropriate.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve maintenance procedures, suggesting lean practices such as 5S or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA) or Vocational High School (SMK) in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in machine maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Male candidates only, as specified by the current operational policy.
- Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
- Proficiency in basic electrical wiring, circuit testing, and mechanical assembly.
- Good mechanical aptitude, including familiarity with bearings, belts, gears, and hydraulic systems.
- Effective communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with production staff.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently under pressure.
- Commitment to safety standards and willingness to participate in regular safety training.
