Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi AHU (Air Handling Unit) – Pemeliharaan & Instalasi to join our engineering team at the corporate headquarters in Padalarang, Bandung Barat. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliable operation of HVAC systems across our commercial and industrial projects. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic 3‑shift environment, providing hands‑on technical support for the installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of air handling units.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed installation of AHU components, including fans, coils, dampers, filters, and control panels, according to design specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks, calibrate sensors, and replace worn parts to minimize equipment downtime.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and diagnostic software.
- Document all service activities, test results, and corrective actions in the company’s maintenance management system.
- Collaborate with project engineers, electricians, and HVAC designers to ensure seamless integration of AHU systems with broader building automation solutions.
- Assist in the commissioning process by performing functional testing, balancing airflow, and verifying control logic.
- Adhere to safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with local regulations and ISO 9001 quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians and apprentices.
- Maintain an inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables, and coordinate with the procurement department for timely replenishment.
- Participate in after‑hours on‑call rotation to respond to emergency breakdowns and support client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Teknik Pendingin & Tata Udara, Elektro, Mechatronics, or a closely related field.
- Academic performance: GPA of at least 3.00.
- Professional experience: At least 1 year of proven experience as an AHU technician or in a similar HVAC maintenance role.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting HVAC machinery, understanding of pneumatic and electrical schematics, and ability to use diagnostic tools.
- Soft skills: Strong problem‑solving abilities, effective communication, teamwork orientation, and a proactive attitude toward continuous learning.
- Willingness to work in a 3‑shift schedule (rotating day, evening, and night shifts).
- Location: Ability to work on‑site at our Padalarang office in Kabupaten Bandung Barat.

- Additional certifications (preferred): HVAC certification, electrical safety (LOTO), or relevant vocational training.
