Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Problem Account Officer to join our dynamic team in Tulungagung, Jawa Timur. This role is a key part of our finance operations, focusing on the timely collection of overdue receivables (A/R Overdue) while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to ensure cash flow stability and support our company’s growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for overdue accounts, ensuring all payments are recovered within established timelines.
- Conduct daily monitoring of aging reports, identify high‑risk accounts, and prioritize collection activities accordingly.
- Initiate contact with delinquent customers via phone, email, and in‑person visits to negotiate repayment plans and resolve disputes.
- Collaborate with sales, underwriting, and legal teams to gather necessary documentation and support for collection actions.
- Prepare and present regular performance metrics, including recovery rates, aging trends, and forecasted cash inflows, to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities in the company’s ERP system, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of collection strategies, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns promptly and professionally, preserving the company’s reputation.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, industry regulations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; high school (SMA/SMK) graduates are also considered for entry‑level positions.
- Age limit: maximum 30 years old.
- Open to fresh graduates, though at least one year of experience in a similar accounts‑receivable or collections role is a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of multifinance business processes and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation ability.
- High integrity, perseverance, meticulous attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with ERP or CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.

- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
