Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Hub Lead for SPX Express in Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Riau. The Hub Lead will be the operational backbone of our local logistics hub, ensuring that every parcel moves smoothly from pick‑up to final delivery. This position reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and works closely with warehouse teams, line‑haul partners, and third‑party logistics (3PL) providers. The ideal candidate combines strong leadership abilities with a deep understanding of last‑mile and first‑mile logistics, and is eager to drive continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor end‑to‑end shipment timelines, guaranteeing on‑time pickups, transit, and deliveries to customers.
- Coordinate daily operations with the Warehouse, Line Haul, and 3PL teams to resolve bottlenecks and optimize routing.
- Implement risk‑mitigation strategies to reduce package loss, damage, and mis‑routing, including regular audits and quality checks.
- Track and reconcile all hub transactions, ensuring accuracy of inbound and outbound records in the transportation management system.
- Supervise inbound and outbound activities, overseeing dock scheduling, load planning, and dispatch sequencing.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, conducting performance reviews, delivering training on safety, SOPs, and Excel‑based reporting.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, dwell time, and cost per shipment, and present actionable insights to senior management.
- Drive process improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean or Six Sigma concepts to increase efficiency and reduce operational waste.
- Maintain compliance with local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for escalated customer issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining high service standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordinator experience within logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven experience in both First‑Mile and Last‑Mile operations, with a solid grasp of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Strong leadership and team‑building skills, capable of motivating diverse staff and fostering a collaborative work culture.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize urgent issues, and meet tight deadlines in a high‑volume environment.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir, Riau.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Friday, 09:30 – 18:30, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
