Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive Russian language lessons (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) that align with curriculum standards and student proficiency levels.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and interactive activities using digital resources such as Zoom, Google Meet, and collaborative whiteboards.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, and oral evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and the support team to address learning needs, schedule changes, and performance concerns.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including formal classroom settings, informal conversation clubs, and exam‑preparation courses.
- Participate in periodic training sessions, webinars, and peer‑review meetings to stay current with pedagogical best practices and emerging e‑learning technologies.
- Ensure a professional and supportive virtual classroom environment by managing time effectively, troubleshooting technical issues, and fostering respectful interaction.
- Contribute to the development of new course modules, promotional content, and community‑building initiatives within the platform.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Russian Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in Russian (both oral and written) with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
- Prior teaching experience—formal (school, university) or informal (private tutoring, language clubs) is highly valued.
- Proficiency in online teaching tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and learning management systems.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and a responsible attitude toward student outcomes.
- Own reliable computer, high‑speed internet connection, webcam, and headset for virtual instruction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, to accommodate students from different time zones.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple class groups simultaneously.
