Responsibilities
- Execute routine and periodic maintenance activities on production machinery and auxiliary equipment according to the established schedule.
- Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns or operational disturbances promptly to minimize production downtime.
- Operate production equipment in strict compliance with the plant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations.
- Monitor machine performance during production runs, ensuring safe, efficient, and optimal operation.
- Identify early signs of wear or failure and perform preventive maintenance to avoid unexpected stoppages.
- Document all maintenance actions, repair work, and technical issues, and submit comprehensive reports to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and overall condition of machines, workstations, and surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and the engineering team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in the training of junior staff on basic troubleshooting, equipment handling, and safety protocols.
- Support shift changes by providing clear hand‑over reports and ensuring all critical tasks are completed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Age not exceeding 28 years; male candidates only as per current operational policy.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; fresh graduates with strong technical foundations are also encouraged to apply.
- Solid understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, and control systems of production machinery.
- Proven problem‑solving abilities, especially in diagnosing electronic or mechanical faults.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (including weekends) in a factory environment.
- High motivation to learn, strong teamwork orientation, and good communication skills.
- Familiarity with occupational health and safety (K3), hygiene, and sanitation practices is a distinct advantage.
- Physically fit and mentally resilient to handle the demands of a fast‑paced production floor.
