Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Technician Molding Produksi to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of molding equipment, maintaining product quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our production environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background, strong problem‑solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with engineers, supervisors, and cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor molding machines according to the SISTEM PARAMETER MOLDING guidelines, ensuring optimal cycle times and product consistency.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance, perform troubleshooting, and execute corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, work orders, and process specifications to set up molds and adjust machine parameters.
- Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy, surface quality, and adherence to specifications, documenting any deviations.
- Collaborate with the engineering department to implement tooling changes, process improvements, and new product introductions.
- Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and quality reports in accordance with company policies.
- Participate in shift handovers, providing clear communication of equipment status, pending issues, and upcoming tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of raw materials and waste.
- Assist in training junior technicians and new hires on equipment operation, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Contribute ideas for cost reduction, efficiency gains, and waste minimization during continuous improvement meetings.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field; SMA/SMK equivalent accepted with relevant experience.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience as a Technician in a molding production environment.
- Proficiency in operating and calibrating molding machines using the SISTEM PARAMETER MOLDING framework.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
- Complete set of application documents (resume, certificates, identification, etc.).
- Ability to work flexible shifts from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Problem‑solving mindset, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle moderate lifting requirements.
