Introduction

We are currently seeking a diligent Staff Accounting – Financial Record Management professional to join our core finance team. The role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career accountants who have at least one year of hands‑on experience and a strong desire to deepen their expertise in financial record‑keeping, bank reconciliation, and corporate tax compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Record all company financial transactions in the ERP system with precision, ensuring each entry is fully documented and easily traceable.
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying discrepancies and working with treasury to resolve them promptly.
  • Prepare periodic financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash‑flow) and assist senior accountants in the consolidation of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a well‑organized filing system for all accounting vouchers, invoices, and supporting documentation, both in hard copy and digital formats.
  • Track accounts receivable and accounts payable, monitor aging schedules, and support the credit control team in collection efforts.
  • Calculate, remit, and file corporate taxes—including PPh, PPN, and regional taxes—ensuring compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Assist in the development of the annual budget, providing accurate historical data and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (procurement, sales, HR) to gather necessary financial data and resolve accounting issues.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables) to analyse large data sets, generate management dashboards, and improve reporting efficiency.
  • Stay updated on changes to tax legislation and accounting standards, and recommend process improvements to enhance internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
  • 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting or tax compliance, preferably within a corporate or financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation, journal entries, and bank reconciliation procedures.
  • Hands‑on experience with Indonesian tax filings (PPh, PPN, regional taxes) and familiarity with e‑filling platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and PivotTable creation.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to accounting software or ERP systems used by the company.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical abilities and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
  • Team player who can work independently when needed, demonstrating reliability and a proactive attitude.
