Introduction
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated mentors to join our fast‑growing tutoring centre, EduBoost Learning Center. As a Mentor for Mathematics, English, Science, and Primary Teacher Education (PGSD/PGMI), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the academic journey of students ranging from junior high to early college levels. This full‑time position offers a dynamic classroom environment where innovative teaching methods are encouraged, and continuous professional growth is supported.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and adapt lesson plans and teaching materials that align with national curricula and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Deliver engaging, interactive instruction in Mathematics, English, Natural Sciences (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), or Primary Teacher Education subjects.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and compile weekly progress reports highlighting each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with fellow mentors and curriculum coordinators to ensure consistency and quality across all courses.
- Participate in parent‑teacher meetings, offering insights into student performance and recommending personalized study strategies.
- Utilize digital learning platforms and educational technology to enhance classroom interaction and track student outcomes.
- Stay updated with the latest pedagogical trends, assessment techniques, and subject‑specific content through continuous professional development.
- Assist in organising extracurricular academic events such as quiz bowls, science fairs, and math Olympiads.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; preferably a current university student or graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or PGSD/PGMI).
- Academic achievement: GPA of at least 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
- Age: 27 years old or younger.
- Open to all genders.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable manner.
- Demonstrated passion for learning, mentorship, and student development.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with a professional and punctual attitude.
- Proficiency in using educational software, online collaboration tools, and basic office applications.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail in record‑keeping and reporting.
