Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed explanations of daily specials and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using handheld POS systems, and communicate them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Monitor tables throughout service, refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any guest needs or concerns with a courteous and proactive attitude.
- Collaborate with fellow waitstaff, hosts, and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth coordination during peak dining periods.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, including setting and resetting tables, polishing cutlery, and adhering to health and safety standards.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash or card transactions with precision and confidentiality.
- Upsell additional menu items, suggest pairings, and promote loyalty programs to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefings to discuss service highlights, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑40 years old; all genders are welcome.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and honesty.
- Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and basic English.
- Demonstrated ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is a plus, but not required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry trays weighing up to 15 kg.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
