Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Support Promotor Lapangan to join our agricultural team operating in the melon and watermelon production regions. This field‑based role is essential for bridging the gap between our research & development initiatives and the growers who implement cutting‑edge cultivation techniques. As a front‑line ambassador, you will travel across designated territories, provide hands‑on technical support, and cultivate strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and internal stakeholders. The position offers a full‑time schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with opportunities for professional growth in a fast‑moving agribusiness environment.
Responsibilities
- Educate and advise growers on best‑practice cultivation methods for melons and watermelons, including planting, irrigation, pest management, and harvest timing.
- Conduct on‑site field visits to monitor crop health, collect data, and troubleshoot agronomic issues.
- Prepare and present clear, concise reports using computer software; proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools is highly valued.
- Maintain a high level of integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness while handling confidential farm data and company information.
- Demonstrate active learning by staying current with emerging agricultural technologies and quickly adapting to new environments and people.
- Build and nurture new relationships with growers, suppliers, and local community members to expand our network and market reach.
- Exhibit strong emotional resilience and effective leadership when coordinating field teams or guiding junior staff.
- Manage complex tasks that blend field work with administrative duties, such as scheduling, documentation, and performance tracking.
- Possess a valid SIM C driver’s license and own a motorbike for reliable transportation to remote locations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in agricultural support, field promotion, or farm management.
- Thorough understanding of melon and watermelon cultivation techniques.
- Computer literacy is preferred; ability to use spreadsheets, presentations, and basic data‑entry tools.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, and a reputation for being trustworthy.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new environments, cultures, and personnel.
- Passion for establishing and maintaining new relationships with stakeholders.
- Emotional strength and proven leadership capabilities.
- Competence in handling both field‑based and administrative responsibilities efficiently.
- Valid SIM C license and personal motorbike for field mobility.

- Additional technical skills (e.g., ACLS, 3D Max, AVR) are considered a plus but not mandatory.
