Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver undergraduate nursing curricula in accordance with national accreditation standards and the university’s academic policies.
- Conduct interactive lectures, laboratory sessions, and clinical simulations that foster critical thinking, evidence‑based practice, and compassionate patient care.
- Mentor and supervise student research projects, internships, and practicum placements in hospitals and community health centers.
- Participate actively in curriculum review committees, ensuring that course content remains current with evolving healthcare guidelines and technology.
- Engage in scholarly research, publish findings in peer‑reviewed journals, and present at national and international nursing conferences.
- Collaborate with healthcare institutions in Palembang to develop community outreach programs, health education workshops, and service‑learning opportunities for students.
- Provide academic advising, career counseling, and professional development support to undergraduate students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress, adhering to the university’s quality assurance processes.
- Uphold the university’s code of conduct, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
Requirements
- Graduated from a recognized Nursing Professional Education (NERS) program or hold a Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Academic background in D3 or S1 Nursing, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 for S1 and 3.5 for S2 from a BAN‑PT accredited institution.
- Willingness to relocate and establish a long‑term residence in Palembang.
- Not currently employed as a civil servant (PNS) or permanent staff at another institution.
- Clear understanding of the Tri Dharma of higher education (teaching, research, community service).
- Clean legal and professional record – no past criminal issues, unresolved employment disputes, or financial defaults.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and proficiency in academic English.
- Demonstrated ability to develop innovative teaching methods and adapt to diverse learning styles.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of advances in nursing practice.
