Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Area Ciamis – Field Collection professional to join our dynamic collections team. Based in the Ciamis region, this role focuses on on‑site engagement with delinquent borrowers, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding obligations while maintaining respectful and professional communication. The ideal candidate is a self‑motivated individual with strong negotiation skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtors in person and deliver formal Surat Peringatan (warning letters) for accounts overdue by more than 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s situation, conduct thorough analysis of the outstanding balance, and initiate the collection process.
- Negotiate payment options that are realistic for the borrower while protecting the creditor’s interests.
- Track and monitor promised payment dates, follow up diligently, and re‑collect when promises are not met.
- Locate customers who cannot be reached at their listed residence or office, employing verification techniques and local knowledge.
- Ensure all customer data—phone numbers, addresses, and contact details—are accurate and up‑to‑date in the system.
- Document every interaction in the collection software, creating clear, concise notes for audit and reporting purposes.
- Report daily and weekly results to the supervisor, discuss challenges, and propose solutions for difficult cases.
- Coordinate with internal collection teams and related departments (legal, finance, customer service) to streamline the handling of delinquent accounts.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies, ensuring the organization’s reputation remains intact in the community.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only, age not exceeding 50 years.
- At least 1 year of experience in field collections or a related role; fresh graduates with strong aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
- Residency in the Ciamis area (including Sadayana, Cihaurbeuti, Baregbeg, Ciamis, Cipaku, Sindangkasih, Cijeunjing, Kawali, Cikoneng).
- Own a motor vehicle with a valid SIM C license for travel between collection sites.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a proven track record of meeting collection targets.
- High persistence, strong target orientation, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Team‑player mindset with solid interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office and collection-specific software.
