Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Crew Dapur – Tim Operasional Dapur to join our fast‑paced kitchen team. This entry‑level position is ideal for individuals who are eager to develop hands‑on experience in both Chinese and Western cuisine while working in a dynamic restaurant environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and contributing to a collaborative team culture.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs with the preparation and cooking of Chinese and Western dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Perform basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and portioning ingredients.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (grills, fryers, steamers, ovens) safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all stations are clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift.
- Follow strict food‑safety and hygiene protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature control.
- Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, checking stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
- Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Assist with plating and garnish to meet presentation standards.
- Participate in daily kitchen briefings, providing feedback and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain a tidy and safe work environment, promptly addressing any spills or hazards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates only (as per company policy).
- Age limit: up to 30 years old.
- Prior experience in Chinese or Western food preparation is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong sense of honesty, discipline, and responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors.
- Highly organized, neat, and proactive with a willingness to take initiative.
- Possession of a motorcycle and a valid SIM C for reliable transportation to and from work.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen tools and the ability to operate them safely.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00.
