Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Kasir Penjualan to join our fast‑growing retail team. As the frontline of our store, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, friendly, and efficient checkout experiences to a diverse customer base. Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic payments while adhering to company policies on cash handling and fraud prevention.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, ensuring receipts, bags, and promotional materials are stocked and readily available.
- Provide courteous, helpful assistance to customers, answering product queries and resolving minor complaints on the spot.
- Collaborate with inventory staff to perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation and report any discrepancies.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures, including safe deposit handling, cash float preparation, and store security checks.
- Promote current promotions, loyalty programs, and upsell complementary items to increase average transaction value.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, POS upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.
- Support team members during peak periods by covering additional registers or assisting on the sales floor as needed.
- Document and report any technical issues with the cash register system to the store manager promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male candidates are preferred, in line with current staffing needs.
- Strong attitude and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated discipline, honesty, meticulousness, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Basic proficiency with cash register systems; willingness to learn advanced POS features.
- No prior experience required—new graduates and career changers are encouraged to apply.
- Availability to work the full schedule of Monday‑Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
