As a Barista Profesional, you will be the face of our café, delivering exceptional coffee experiences while upholding our brand’s reputation for quality, hospitality, and innovation. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages to exacting standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting work station, ensuring all equipment (espresso machines, grinders, brewers) is calibrated and serviced regularly.
- Engage with customers, taking orders, answering menu questions, and offering personalized recommendations based on taste preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately record sales using the café’s POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; communicate restocking needs to the shift supervisor.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, performing routine cleaning and sanitation tasks.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to ensure smooth service during peak hours and assist in training new staff members.
- Stay updated on emerging coffee trends, brewing techniques, and new menu items to continuously improve product knowledge.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and public holidays when business demands require extra coverage.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age between 18 and 25 years.
- Professional appearance – neat, tidy, and presentable at all times.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Strong teamwork orientation, attention to detail, honesty, and a high sense of responsibility.
- Basic technological proficiency – comfortable using POS systems, digital scheduling tools, and social media platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary.
- Single status preferred to ensure availability for shift rotations.
- Residency in Geger or surrounding neighborhoods is highly advantageous.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to develop barista skills through on‑the‑job training.
