Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on food, beverages, and daily specials.
- Take accurate orders, enter them into the POS system, and ensure seamless communication with kitchen and bar staff.
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages, leveraging prior barista experience to maintain high‑quality standards.
- Monitor table progression, refill drinks, and anticipate guest needs to deliver timely, attentive service.
- Handle cash, credit transactions, and produce detailed billing statements while adhering to company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting and resetting tables according to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with fellow waitstaff, chefs, and management to coordinate special events, private bookings, and large party service.
- Train and mentor new team members, sharing best practices for service excellence and barista techniques.
- Address guest feedback professionally, resolve issues swiftly, and report recurring concerns to management for continuous improvement.
- Participate in regular staff meetings, product tastings, and skill‑development workshops to stay current with industry trends.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 degree (or equivalent); high school diploma acceptable for strong candidates.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Head Barista and 2‑3 years as a Barista, demonstrating mastery of coffee preparation and equipment maintenance.
- Proven experience in the F&B sector, preferably in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills: responsible, honest, disciplined, and able to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to serve an international clientele.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with the ability to adapt to occasional peak‑hour demands.
