Introduction
PT. Prima Distribusi Indonesia is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven professional to join our team as a Business Channel Development Specialist based in Situbondo. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and driving sales growth through effective channel management. The ideal candidate will possess a solid foundation in sales, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) landscape with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage existing business channels to increase sales volume and market reach across the Situbondo region.
- Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track interactions, forecast demand, and nurture long‑term client partnerships.
- Conduct regular market visits and channel audits to assess performance, gather competitor intelligence, and uncover new opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to create tailored promotional activities that align with channel objectives.
- Provide training and support to channel partners on product knowledge, merchandising standards, and sales techniques.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting key metrics such as revenue growth, channel penetration, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate documentation of contracts, pricing agreements, and inventory levels to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Coordinate logistics and distribution schedules with the operations team to guarantee timely delivery to channel partners.
- Act as the primary point of contact for channel inquiries, resolving issues promptly to uphold service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 19‑35 years (no upper age limit imposed).
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience, preferably in channel or distribution roles.
- Possession of an active motorcycle and a valid SIM C driver’s license for on‑site mobility.
- Strong proficiency with communication tools, CRM software, digital marketing platforms, and sales analytics applications.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and capable of working independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
- Flexible schedule: Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel to client sites.
