Responsibilities
- Prepare, dispense, and label medication orders in accordance with hospital protocols and regulatory standards.
- Verify prescription accuracy, cross‑check dosage calculations, and ensure proper storage conditions for all pharmaceutical products.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve medication‑related queries and optimize patient therapy.
- Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records, conduct regular stock audits, and manage the replenishment of drugs, medical devices, and consumables.
- Participate in the preparation of intravenous admixtures, chemotherapy agents, and other specialized formulations, adhering strictly to aseptic techniques.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies when appropriate.
- Assist in the development and revision of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the pharmacy department.
- Support quality assurance initiatives, including participation in internal audits and compliance checks.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pharmacological expertise during critical situations.
- Work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, to ensure continuous pharmacy services for the hospital.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Pharmacy.
- Active STR TTK (Pharmacy Technician Registration).
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Willingness to work on a shift basis (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with possible night/weekend rotations).
- Strong sense of honesty, responsibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic computer literacy for pharmacy management systems and electronic medical records.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make sound decisions under pressure.
