Responsibilities
The Cashier will be the face of the store during every transaction. Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately to process cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Scanning items, applying discounts, and ensuring correct pricing and promotions are reflected.
- Handling cash drawer responsibilities, including opening, closing, and reconciling at shift end.
- Providing friendly, courteous service, answering product queries, and directing customers to appropriate departments.
- Maintaining a clean and organized checkout area, including regular sanitisation and stock of receipt paper, bags, and promotional materials.
- Assisting with inventory checks, returns, and exchanges while following store policies.
- Generating daily sales reports, monitoring transaction trends, and flagging any irregularities to management.
- Collaborating with floor staff to ensure seamless stock replenishment and optimal product placement.
- Participating in periodic training sessions on new POS features, customer service best practices, and safety protocols.
Requirements

- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: No upper limit; candidates of any age are welcome.

- Residency: Must reside in or be willing to commute to Malang.
