Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and non‑coffee beverages in strict accordance with Memory Coffee’s recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, steam wands, and other bar equipment safely and efficiently.
- Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service, ensuring each customer feels welcomed and valued.
- Maintain a spotless bar area, regularly cleaning equipment, countertops, and workstations to uphold hygiene standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of beans, milk, syrups, and other ingredients; report shortages and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate closely with fellow baristas, shift supervisors, and kitchen staff to guarantee consistent product quality and seamless service flow.
- Stay knowledgeable about the full menu, seasonal offerings, and brewing methods; confidently recommend drinks based on customer preferences.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and ensure accurate order taking using the point‑of‑sale system.
- Participate in regular training sessions, taste tests, and quality checks to continuously improve skill sets and product knowledge.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, contributing to a safe workplace for both staff and patrons.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age limit: 30 years old or younger.
- Open to all genders.
- No prior experience required; however, previous barista experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Passion for coffee culture and hospitality, with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Neat, clean appearance and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic understanding of bar equipment operation, or the eagerness to master it through on‑the‑job training.
