Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Kitchen Staff – Operational Management to join our fast‑growing culinary team. This full‑time position is based in the Mayang area and offers a rewarding blend of hands‑on kitchen work, cash‑register responsibilities, and shift leadership. The role is open to both male and female applicants, with a focus on individuals who can demonstrate at least one year of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen or food‑service setting. Candidates must be able to work flexible morning and evening shifts, possess a reliable vehicle for commuting, and be ready to contribute to a team that values speed, accuracy, and a spotless work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute daily kitchen production, including cooking, frying, grilling, and assembling menu items according to standardized recipes.
  • Set up, organize, and maintain all kitchen workstations to ensure a smooth flow of operations during peak hours.
  • Operate the cash register, process customer orders, handle payments, and manage product upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare a variety of beverages, such as iced tea (esteh) and other non‑alcoholic drinks, ensuring consistent taste and presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, packaging, and consumables; report shortages and assist with ordering.
  • Enforce strict hygiene and safety protocols, including regular sanitization of equipment, surfaces, and dining areas.
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
  • Adapt quickly to shift changes, covering both morning (08:00‑16:00) and evening (15:30‑23:30) schedules as needed.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff, offering guidance on cooking techniques, cash handling, and customer service best practices.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of production output, sales, and any incidents or equipment issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a kitchen or cashier role within a restaurant, cafeteria, or similar food‑service environment.
  • Age limit: maximum 30 years old.
  • Open to all genders; a professional demeanor and strong work ethic are essential.
  • Proficient in operating cash‑register systems and handling monetary transactions accurately.
  • Excellent knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work quickly, maintain a tidy workstation, and uphold cleanliness throughout the shift.
  • Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends.
  • Reliable personal transportation and residency within Mayang or surrounding districts.
  • Strong communication skills, team‑oriented attitude, and the ability to adapt to changing workloads.
