Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staff Finance and Accounting professional to join our dynamic finance team. This full‑time position is based in our Jakarta office and offers a structured work schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00. As a key member of the financial department, you will support the organization’s fiscal health, ensuring accurate reporting, timely tax compliance, and effective cash‑flow management. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a solid academic foundation in accounting or finance and a passion for continuous improvement within a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK).
- Manage daily cash‑flow activities, including monitoring bank accounts, processing payments, and reconciling cash receipts.
- Coordinate and execute tax filings (PPh 21, PPh 23/26, PPN, and corporate income tax) ensuring full compliance with the Directorate General of Taxes.
- Develop and maintain budget forecasts, variance analysis, and cost‑control reports to support strategic decision‑making.
- Assist internal and external auditors by providing required documentation, explanations, and corrective actions.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software (e.g., SAP B1, Zahir, or MYOB) to streamline data entry, automate routine calculations, and generate management dashboards.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and operations teams to verify transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensure proper documentation and archiving of all financial records in accordance with statutory retention periods.
- Participate in process‑improvement initiatives, recommending best practices for efficiency and internal control enhancements.
- Uphold a high standard of ethical conduct, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and at least one professional accounting software package.
- At least 0–2 years of hands‑on experience in finance, accounting, or tax functions, preferably within a corporate or consultancy setting.
- Strong understanding of cash‑flow management, payment processing, and financial reporting.
- Ability to interpret tax regulations and prepare accurate tax returns.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities; capable of working effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a high level of responsibility.
- Physically and mentally healthy, capable of handling routine office tasks and occasional peak‑period workloads.
