Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and professional Bartender to join our thriving Braga branch. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.
- Supervise the daily maintenance and cleaning of bar equipment, glassware, and workstations to meet hygiene and safety regulations.
- Track inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and report any discrepancies or low‑stock items to the bar manager.
- Compile daily and weekly production reports that detail sales volume, raw material usage, and any operational challenges encountered.
- Follow and enforce company SOPs, including responsible alcohol service, cash handling, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate timely order delivery and ensure seamless guest flow during peak periods.
- Engage with guests, offering recommendations, answering questions about drink menus, and providing personalized service to enhance satisfaction.
- Participate in shift rotations, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, while maintaining a professional and energetic demeanor.
- Continuously update knowledge of new cocktail trends, seasonal ingredients, and emerging beverage technologies.
- Assist in training new bar staff, sharing best practices in mixology, customer interaction, and bar hygiene.
Requirements
- Male candidate, age up to 30 years.
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Hospitality Management or a related field; SMK Perhotelan is also acceptable.
- At least one (1) year of proven experience as a bartender in a high‑volume bar or restaurant.
- Professional certification in bartending or mixology is a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirit categories, and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read guest cues and adapt service style.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work efficiently under pressure.
- Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 kg, and handle fast‑paced service demands.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale (POS) systems and basic math for cash handling.
