We are seeking a dedicated Guru Les Privat to join our dynamic team in Jakarta Pusat. The role is scheduled from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, providing a stable work‑life balance while allowing flexibility to tailor teaching methods to each learner’s unique needs.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver customized lesson plans that align with the curriculum and the individual learning objectives of each student.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify knowledge gaps and track academic progress over time.
- Employ a variety of pedagogical techniques—including interactive activities, multimedia resources, and real‑world examples—to keep lessons engaging and effective.
- Provide constructive feedback and regular performance reports to both students and their parents or guardians.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and encouraging learning environment in the tutoring center or at the student’s home, as required.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and administrative staff to share best practices, develop new teaching materials, and ensure consistent quality across all sessions.
- Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and peer‑review sessions to stay current with educational trends and teaching technologies.
- Manage scheduling, attendance records, and billing documentation with accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Minimum educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Education, a specific subject area, or a related field.
- Gender: Female (per client preference for certain private tutoring arrangements).
- Age: Open to candidates up to a reasonable professional age; no strict upper limit, but candidates should demonstrate the vitality required for active classroom interaction.
- Experience: Entry‑level candidates are welcome; however, prior tutoring or teaching experience is advantageous.
- Core skills: Strong ability to develop teaching skills, excellent communication, patience, empathy, and the capacity to motivate students.
- Proficiency with digital learning platforms, presentation software, and basic office applications.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
