Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Operator Setting dan Teknisi Mesin Produksi to join our fast‑growing plastic manufacturing plant in Semarang. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in operating, setting, and maintaining high‑precision production equipment, ensuring that daily output meets strict quality and efficiency targets. Responsibilities
- Operate and set up production machines—including injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion equipment—to achieve specified production quotas.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on hydraulic and mechanical systems to minimize downtime.
- Execute assembly and production processes in accordance with company‑defined quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor machine parameters, conduct real‑time adjustments, and record production data for analysis.
- Collaborate with the engineering and quality control teams to troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, conduct daily safety checks, and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of production status, equipment condition, and any pending tasks.
- Assist in the training of new staff and share best practices for efficient machine operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, complying with 5S workplace methodology.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably SMK Teknik (Elektro, Permesinan, or Otomotif).
- Age limit: 40 years old or younger.
- Gender: Male (as stipulated by the posting).
- At least 1–2 years of hands‑on experience in plastic industry machinery, or fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude.
- Proven understanding of assembly processes, injection molding, hydraulic technology, blow molding, and extrusion.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and deliver consistent results.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00) and overtime when required.
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation, mechanical troubleshooting, and coordination of technical tasks.
- Good health condition, positive attitude, and strong teamwork skills.
- Preferred: Prior exposure to a plastic manufacturing environment and familiarity with BPJS health and employment benefits.
