Responsibilities
- Prepare and pack incoming goods according to company standards, ensuring correct labeling, documentation, and protection against damage.
- Inspect items for quality and completeness, reporting any discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain organized packing stations, ensuring tools, materials, and packaging supplies are stocked and readily available.
- Coordinate with inventory control to verify stock levels and confirm that the correct quantities are being packed.
- Operate basic material‑handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and conveyor belts safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment.
- Meet daily and weekly packing targets while managing time effectively under pressure.
- Collaborate closely with team members and other departments (e.g., shipping, procurement) to resolve bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Suggest process improvements, such as optimizing packaging layouts or reducing material waste, to increase overall efficiency.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with industry best practices and new packaging technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 25 years or younger; unmarried status preferred for shift flexibility.
- Physical fitness: Able to lift moderate loads, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks without fatigue.
- Strong personal integrity: honest, disciplined, and accountable for work output.
- Excellent attention to detail: capable of spotting errors quickly and maintaining a tidy work area.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high‑pressure situations calmly.
