Introduction

The Supervisor Outlet Penjualan Retail is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing daily retail operations, driving sales performance, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience in a high‑traffic souvenir shop environment. The ideal candidate will combine solid retail management experience with strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to integrity, and the ability to motivate a diverse team. This position reports directly to the Area Manager and works closely with the store’s cashiers, sales associates, and inventory staff to achieve both short‑term targets and long‑term strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of cashiers, sales associates, and support staff, ensuring clear communication of daily objectives.
  • Monitor store performance metrics such as sales volume, average transaction value, and inventory turnover, and prepare weekly reports for senior management.
  • Maintain optimal product presentation, merchandising standards, and visual displays that reflect seasonal promotions and brand guidelines.
  • Handle cash management procedures, including end‑of‑day reconciliation, deposits, and compliance with company financial policies.
  • Train new hires on customer service protocols, POS system operation, and loss‑prevention techniques.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly, ensuring a human‑focused and responsive service experience.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and the central warehouse to manage stock levels, prevent stock‑outs, and conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Implement health, safety, and hygiene standards specific to the food and beverage segment of the retail outlet.
  • Develop and execute local marketing initiatives, including in‑store promotions, loyalty programs, and community outreach events.
  • Ensure compliance with all local labor laws, company policies, and ethical standards, fostering a culture of honesty and accountability.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Business Administration, Retail Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in retail supervision or cashier roles, preferably within a souvenir or gift‑shop environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, and drive performance improvement.
  • Excellent communication skills; confident, articulate, and able to engage both staff and customers effectively.
  • Strong ethical foundation—honest, responsible, and committed to upholding company values.
  • Human‑centric interaction style; responsive, empathetic, and able to resolve conflicts with diplomacy.
  • Flexibility to start immediately and adapt to a Monday‑Saturday work schedule (08:00‑17:00).
  • Proficiency in basic food and beverage management concepts, inventory control, and point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
