Introduction
PT Chiyoda Kogyo Indonesia is seeking a motivated Engineering Electrical – Wiring Specialist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all electrical wiring systems across our production facilities. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, machine operators, and maintenance crews to design, install, and maintain high‑quality wiring solutions that support our advanced automation and machining operations.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations.
- Install, route, and terminate wiring for new equipment, control panels, and retrofit projects in accordance with company SOPs and industry standards.
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with PLC programmers and automation engineers to integrate wiring solutions with control logic and safety interlocks.
- Support CNC machining centers, turning machines, and welding stations by ensuring proper power distribution and grounding.
- Document all work activities, including as‑built drawings, test results, and maintenance logs, using the company’s digital management system.
- Adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate PPE and following lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior electricians and apprentices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting upgrades or redesigns that enhance system reliability and energy efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Open to all genders; age range aligned with the specific position requirements.
- Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for entry‑level opportunities.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Proven experience with electrical wiring installation, testing, and maintenance of complex systems.
- For specialized tracks: experience with PLC programming, CNC/center machining operation, turning (lathe) operation, or welding processes and safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, disciplined work habits, and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Willingness to follow company SOPs, safety protocols, and continuous training programs.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, at the PT Chiyoda Kogyo Indonesia site.
