Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Field Collector to join our dynamic team covering the regions of Manado, Minahasa Selatan, Minahasa Utara, Bitung, and Tomohon. In this role, you will be the frontline representative of our credit services, engaging directly with customers at their residences to manage overdue installment payments. Responsibilities
- Visit customers’ homes across the assigned territories to conduct face‑to‑face collection of overdue credit installments.
- Explain payment terms clearly, negotiate realistic repayment plans, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Achieve monthly collection targets set by the operations manager while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Meet daily visitation quotas, planning routes efficiently to maximize coverage and reduce travel time.
- Document each interaction accurately in the digital collection system, updating payment status and customer notes in real time.
- Identify early warning signs of potential defaults and promptly report them to the risk‑management team.
- Maintain a courteous and empathetic approach, building trust with customers to encourage timely payments.
- Collaborate with the call‑center team and finance department to resolve disputes and answer customer inquiries.
- Adhere strictly to all legal and regulatory guidelines governing debt collection practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new collection strategies, product knowledge, and compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of any gender; diversity is valued.
- Valid and active motorcycle license (SIM C) with a reliable motorcycle for field work.
- Own an Android smartphone (minimum Android 9) for accessing the company’s collection app.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively.
- Basic numeracy and the capacity to handle cash transactions securely.
- Self‑motivated, target‑oriented, and able to work independently while following established procedures.
- Preferred: At least 2 years of experience in field collection or a related role; fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn are also encouraged to apply.
- Ability to work flexible hours from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
