Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Pengawas Dapur Cabang Serang (Branch Kitchen Supervisor) to join our fast‑growing food service operation in Serang. This pivotal role ensures that all culinary activities at the branch run smoothly, adhere to hygiene standards, and deliver the high‑quality dishes our customers expect. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who can balance hands‑on kitchen work with staff coordination, inventory control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service, ensuring consistency with the company’s recipes and presentation standards.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff (chefs, cooks, kitchen assistants) to maintain optimal staffing levels from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
  • Monitor food safety and sanitation practices, conduct regular inspections, and enforce compliance with local health regulations.
  • Manage inventory of raw materials, control waste, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels while minimizing excess.
  • Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for cooking techniques, equipment usage, and cleaning protocols.
  • Collaborate with the front‑of‑house manager to synchronize kitchen output with customer flow, reducing wait times and enhancing guest satisfaction.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment (grills, ovens, fryers, mixers) and arrange timely repairs.
  • Analyze sales data and menu performance to suggest menu adjustments, cost‑saving measures, and promotional ideas.
  • Foster a positive work environment by providing constructive feedback, recognizing outstanding performance, and resolving conflicts promptly.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to the company’s dress code, personal hygiene standards, and safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with vocational training in kitchen operations are highly preferred.
  • Age: Must be 27 years old or younger at the time of application.
  • Gender: Open to all genders; both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Physical Requirements: Minimum height of 165 cm for males and 155 cm for females; must be in good physical and mental health to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
  • Experience: No prior experience required, but prior exposure to cashier, waiter, or kitchen roles (minimum SMP education for kitchen duties) is advantageous.
  • Key Skills: Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment, strong organizational abilities, basic numeracy for inventory tracking, and effective communication in Bahasa Indonesia.
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, teamwork, problem‑solving, time management, and a passion for delivering excellent food quality.
