Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver packages within assigned geographic zones, adhering strictly to route plans and delivery windows.
- Inspect each parcel before loading to verify condition, correct labeling, and completeness.
- Update real‑time delivery status in the company’s mobile application, including proof of delivery, exceptions, and customer signatures.
- Communicate proactively with customers regarding estimated arrival times, delays, or special handling instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during the shift.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after each shift, checking oil levels, tire pressure, brakes, and overall cleanliness.
- Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the fleet manager immediately to prevent service disruptions.
- Assist in loading and unloading packages, ensuring optimal stacking to prevent damage during transport.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new routing software, customer service best practices, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Open to all educational levels; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Age: Must be 50 years or younger at the time of application.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial vehicle endorsement is a plus.
- Ability to operate a smartphone or tablet for route navigation and status updates.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to maintain courteous and professional communication with customers.
- Demonstrated discipline and integrity, with a commitment to following company policies and procedures.
- Physical stamina to lift packages up to 25 kg and remain on the road for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work a seven‑day schedule, including weekends, from 08:00 to 17:00.
