Introduction
We are seeking a talented Architect & Interior Designer to join our dynamic design studio located in the vibrant region of Langsa, Aceh Tamiang, and Aceh Timur. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, turning client visions into functional and aesthetically compelling spaces. As part of our creative team, you will collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and project managers to deliver high‑quality designs that reflect local culture while embracing modern design trends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct client interviews and needs assessments to define project scope, budget, and design objectives.
- Develop conceptual sketches, mood boards, and 3‑D visualizations using SketchUp and AutoCAD to communicate design intent.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, layout plans, elevations, and material specifications for interior fit‑outs.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and landscaping consultants to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Select finishes, furnishings, lighting, and accessories that align with the project concept and client preferences.
- Manage design documentation and maintain an organized digital archive for each project.
- Participate in site visits and supervise on‑site installation to verify compliance with design specifications.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors, negotiate quotations, and monitor procurement timelines.
- Stay updated on emerging design trends, sustainable material options, and local building regulations.
- Provide regular progress reports to senior management and address any design‑related challenges promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a diploma or degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is a strong advantage.
- At least 1–2 years of professional experience in interior design or architectural drafting.
- Proficiency in SketchUp and AutoCAD; familiarity with rendering tools such as V-Ray or Lumion is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail in preparing design documents.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, meeting tight deadlines.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional site visits outside regular hours.
