Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Tutor for Elementary School Students to join our dynamic learning center in Demak. This part‑time position focuses on providing high‑quality, personalized tutoring for primary‑school children, helping them strengthen core academic skills and build confidence in a supportive environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that align with the national curriculum for grades 1‑6.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions, concentrating on mathematics, Bahasa Indonesia, and science fundamentals.
- Assess each student’s strengths and weaknesses, then tailor instruction to meet individual learning needs.
- Track student progress through regular quizzes, homework reviews, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student performance, goals, and any areas requiring additional support.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and encouraging classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity and respect.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and center staff to share best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilize educational technology tools (e.g., interactive whiteboards, digital worksheets) to enhance the learning experience.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings and professional development workshops.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum a Bachelor’s degree (S1), preferably in Education (PGSD) or a senior university student in the final semester of an education program.
- Gender: Female candidates only.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on teaching or tutoring experience with elementary‑level students. Prior experience in a tutoring center is a strong advantage.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Demak city or willing to relocate.
- Availability: Workdays Monday to Friday, from 14:00 to 18:00.
- Personal Qualities: Honest, responsible, patient, and enthusiastic about child development.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities, basic proficiency in 3D Max for creating visual teaching aids is a plus.
- Additional Traits: Creative lesson design, ability to motivate young learners, and a collaborative mindset.
