This role is pivotal in expanding our network of borrowers, providing economic guidance to households, and ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications in line with Amartha’s rigorous standards. The successful candidate will work directly in the community, fostering trust and delivering high‑impact financial solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new customers, encouraging them to join Amartha’s lending programs.
- Conduct on‑site visits to assess the economic conditions of households and provide tailored financial counseling.
- Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports for the credit committee, highlighting risk assessments and repayment capacity.
- Accompany members during weekly meetings, monitor transaction activities, and support them throughout the loan lifecycle.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field observations, and follow‑up actions using Amartha’s digital platforms.
- Collaborate with internal teams—including underwriting, risk, and operations—to streamline the approval process and resolve any client issues promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions and community outreach events to stay updated on product offerings and market trends.
- Travel across the assigned territory using a personal two‑wheel vehicle, ensuring coverage of all target villages and towns.
Requirements
- Age: maximum 28 years old; no upper age limit for experience.
- Education: minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are preferred.
- Gender: open to all genders.
- Must possess a valid motorbike and a clean driving record.
- Strong communication skills—able to build rapport with partners, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to work independently in the field and adapt to diverse cultural contexts.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; prior experience in micro‑finance, sales, or community development is an advantage.
- Willingness to be deployed to any Amartha branch across Indonesia, with a focus on the Indragiri Hulu region.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and comfort using mobile data collection tools.
