Responsibilities
- Set up and operate cutting machinery according to production schedules, ensuring precise dimensions and minimal material waste.
- Inspect incoming fabric rolls for defects, verify specifications, and report any inconsistencies to the quality control team.
- Maintain accurate records of material usage, machine settings, and output counts for daily reporting.
- Collaborate closely with pattern makers and sewing supervisors to align cutting plans with design requirements.
- Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor maintenance of cutting equipment to prevent downtime.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper handling of sharp tools and machine guards.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that increase efficiency or reduce waste.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric stock levels and communicating replenishment needs.
- Support training of new team members on equipment operation and workplace standards.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female preferred (male applicants may apply for limited quota).
- Age: 18‑45 years.
- At least 5 years of work experience, with a minimum of 2 years specifically in the garment‑bedcover industry.
- Height of at least 150 cm and a fit, professional appearance.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with supervisors and peers.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, measurement charts, and work orders.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle material rolls safely.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and reporting purposes.
