Responsibilities
- Contact customers who have overdue invoices or loan repayments through phone calls, emails, and messaging platforms, ensuring outreach is timely and professional.
- Negotiate repayment plans, restructure outstanding balances when appropriate, and secure written agreements that align with company policies.
- Monitor the status of each account on a daily basis, updating the internal collection dashboard and flagging high‑risk cases for escalation.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on collection performance, payment trends, and any issues that may affect cash flow.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions, payments received, and follow‑up actions in the designated collections software.
- Collaborate with the credit underwriting and customer service teams to resolve disputes, answer queries, and provide clarifications on repayment terms.
- Stay informed about the latest regulatory requirements and internal policies governing debt collection, ensuring full compliance at all times.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to share insights, discuss challenging cases, and contribute ideas for process improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 42 years.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a collection, debt recovery, or credit control role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on persuasive negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Solid understanding of Indonesian collection regulations and internal compliance standards.
- Proficiency with collection management systems or related financial software.
- Team‑oriented attitude with the ability to cooperate effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Preferred: AFPI (Asosiasi Fintech Pendanaan Indonesia) certification or similar professional credential.
- Core soft skills: punctuality, rapid adaptability, excellent time‑management, and strong interpersonal communication.
